Leak Proof Panties
How well do you know your favorite sanitary pads? You’ve been using them for a long time, maybe ever since you start your menstruation.
😡THEY CAN CAUSE CANCER
Your pads are made of plastic materials. Some chemicals that are made to plastic like BPA and BPS can complicate embryonic development. The plasticizers can actually lead to organ damage.
The fiber in the absorbent pads that you use can cause cervical cancer. Sanitary pads are not purely made of cotton but they’re made of cellulose gel.
The dioxin present in the menstrual pads can cause ovarian cancer.
Napkins are made to absorb wetness. That is why aside from cotton, they also contain rayon, a synthetic fiber, which is also dangerous because they also contain dioxin. Basically, when rayon is bleached, it releases dioxin.
😡THEY CONTAIN PESTICIDES AND HERBICIDES
We all know pads are made of cotton. Like other crops, cotton crops are being sprayed with pesticides and herbicides that can definitely cause harm when they reach your bloodstream.
Furan, a potentially dangerous chemical, is present on the cotton and will stay until it’s harvested.
Imagine having this chemical contaminant inside your body. Furan is even linked to cancer in some experimental animals.
Herbicides and pesticides are linked to thyroid malfunction, infertility and other health problems.
😡THEY CONTAIN DIOXIN, AN ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTANT
Cotton is not naturally ultra – white. Because most girls prefer something that is purely white to make them feel they’re putting on something fresh and clean, sanitary pad companies use a chemical called dioxin to bleach the cotton.
Based on research, a short-term exposure to dioxin can cause skin darkening and altered liver function.
A woman might be using 6,000 sanitary napkins in her lifetime and when dioxin accumulates in the body it can cause serious health risks and diseases such as immune system damage, diabetes, hormone dysfunction, pelvic inflammatory disease, ovarian cancer and others.
😡THEY CAN CAUSE INFERTILITY AND BIRTH DEFECTS
Your pads contain odor neutralizers or deodorants because every woman hates the smell of blood. It’s understandable.
However, sanitary pad companies added some chemicals in the scented pads that can cause complications on your baby’s embryonic development.
Also, it is not recommended to use scented feminine hygiene products because they can cause irritation.
They can cause yeast infection which can lead to other health complications.
😡THEY ARE PRONE TO BACTERIAL GROWTH AND OTHER INFECTIONS
Prolonged use of sanitary pads in a day means an overgrowth of staphylococcus aureus bacteria in your vagina.
It’s commonly called as toxic shock syndrome. Some symptoms of toxic shock syndrome are dizziness, fever and diarrhea.
The toxins released by the bacteria can actually cause a sudden drop in your blood pressure which is dangerous because the brain fails to get enough supply of blood.
Your pads are made of synthetic materials which can cause blockage of wetness, which encourage bacterial growth.
This is one of the reasons why some women experience severe allergies and yeast infections.
Some women may think it’s normal to have allergies and itchiness, which is a misconception.

Did you know that your squeaky white sanitary pad uses a dangerous chemical called Dioxin to achieve the look of purity?
The WHO labels dioxin as a pollutant and carcinogen which does not degrade in the environment easily. The effects it can have on the human body is much more serious than just superficial irritation and allergy.
Dioxin is a chemical used to bleach the cotton and cellulose wood pulp, to give it a white color. This chemical does not get eliminated from the product on which it is used and finds its way to your body and environment when you use a sanitary pad containing this cotton. Even at low doses, Dioxin finds its way into your fat tissues and continue to pose several health threats.
Dioxin is a potent carcinogen. Though the exposure to dioxin through sanitary pads is deemed insignificant by product makers, the nature of dioxin to get accumulated in your body has the potential to cause cancers like cervical cancer and ovarian cancer. The vaginal mucous membrane is extremely permeable and can absorb chemical like Dioxin directly into the bloodstream. Dioxin is also an immunosuppressant and can disrupt your hormonal regulatory mechanism. This endocrine disrupter can alter the ratio of estrogen and androgen in your body, resulting in reproductive problems.
Increased Risks of Vaginal Infections:The plasticizers like BPA and synthetic linings of sanitary pads can result in the increased risk of exposure to bacteria and yeasts. Wetness resulting from the collection of moisture can be a breeding ground for bacteria like Staphylococcus aureus and yeast like Candida albicans. These microbes multiply rapidly in a humid environment and cause vaginal infections.
If left untreated, these microbes can enter the bloodstream and cause severe septic shock. Vaginitis can progress into Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, which has the potential to damage the reproductive ability of a woman. BPA and BPS are also linked with disruption of embryonic development.
Compromised Female Reproductive Health: A beautiful fragrance is associated with the freshness of sanitary napkins. But the price that you are paying for having an odor-free period is not worth it at all. Synthetic sanitary napkins are laced with odor neutralizers and artificial fragrances. These cheap chemical components can cause serious irritations and allergy. These chemicals can cause complications in reproduction, to the extent of infertility.Phthalates are compounds used to give a smooth finish to the sanitary pads. These compounds have been shown to cause endocrine disruption and affect normal reproductive hormone levels in experimental animals.
Super Absorbent Polymers used in sanitary pads are mostly petroleum by- products which claim to soak 30 times their weight. This quality of ultra-thin sanitary napkin makes it very desirable for women, but there is a considerable health threat that comes with this convenience. SAP can cause skin reactions, rashes, allergies, reproductive issues, and Toxic Shock Syndrome.

Okay so I got these because I have super heavy periods – like we’re talking I bleed like 3x the average amount of blood loss over the duration of a period in ONE DAY. And I wish I was exaggerating. These ones are reasonably priced and you get more of them! Plus they’re not ugly and they fit nice, which is always a bonus!
So Good !!
i use another items during my period to avoid the use of not recycle pads/tampons
so is great to have more and more options, i got thru period cup, period washable pad and now to period panties!
they hold good and are very comfortable. to wash was super easy just had it in the wash machine with my other clothing and it come out clean. i love it
Amazing Replacement for Pads/Tampons
HOLY COW. I did not expect a lot of out these things. Honestly, I hoped for the best, but was about 98.3% sure that I’d end up regretting this purchase. For the first time in my life, I’m happy to say I WAS WRONG.Highly recommend if you have heavy bleeding.
I’m in Love!!
This was my first experience with period panties. I have a medical situation that makes it uncomfortable to wear tampons or cups right now, and I really hate pads. This seemed like my best option, and I am glad I tried it.
These Are Amazing.
Absolutely fantastic. I am so, so happy with these. They look and feel like normal panties. The absorbent part is shockingly thin. They feel very comfortable. Also, I am quite sensitive to synthetic fabrics and very picky about the breath ability and fit of my underwear. I am so happy to never deal with that again! I’m also thrilled to be reducing my carbon footprint.
i use for lbl and i feel so much happier knowing i have these as a safety net. do not feel so self-conscious and anxious anymore.
Very Useful !!
My cycle is pretty heavy the first 2 days and I always worry about leaking and try to stay close to home. These gave me the confidence to leave the house and not worry about leaking through my pants.
OMG THIS IS PERFECT!!
I doubted the quality of these menstrual panties at first but what’s surprised when i bought this for myself on my friend’s recommendation. This brand is really true to its policy of not compromising quality with price. Very good work. Thank you
